Joliet Symphony Orchestra
Series of collateral created for the Joliet Symphony Orchestra. This process started with designing a new and appropriate logo to represent the organization. The logo combines fluid lines that come to a sharp point to emphasize the cohesive yet abrupt sounds of the orchestra. It also combines the letterforms J, S, and O with a more abstract approach to provide a sense of movement throughout the mark. The logo evolved into a series of collateral for the organization including a business card, letterhead, #10 envelope, a vehicle wrap, and apparel.
Announcement posters and apparel were designed for the Joliet Symphony Orchestra's upcoming concerts, titled "Rejoice," "Renewal," "Revitalize," and "Remember." Pieces from Alphonse Mucha inspired each poster to complement the fluidity heard throughout the orchestra's music. Warm and vibrant colors are seen in "Rejoice," muted beige tones in "Remember," and a combination of both vibrant and subtle colors in "Revitalize." "Renewal" includes more muted, warm tones to give the imagery a relaxing look.
